Percy Grainger (1882-1961) was a piano prodigy born in Australia. He came to the United States at the outbreak of World War I, enlisted as an Army bandsman, and became an American citizen in 1918.

Our Fall, 2015 concerts will feature two works by Austin-based composers. Aurora Borealis is a colorful work by Joel Love, who recently completed his doctoral work at UT. Anthems by ACWE's own Michael Bell commemorates the fall of the Berlin Wall.
