    ACWE will perform for the residents of Westminster at 7:15pm on July 1st.

    Concert begins after the parade.

    • Wear blue ACWE polo shirts, and khaki bottoms (climate appropriate, with optional patriotic adornments)
    • Parking along the parade route is restricted Do NOT park on Eton Street (see attachment below for the parade route) -- that's where the parade will be rolling. Street parking in the neighborhood is your best bet.
    • What to bring: Music and music stand. Feel free to bring water, sunglasses, hats, and sunscreen, as this will be an outdoor concert. 

    Call time: 9:30 am* (subject to change +/- 30 minutes, depending on when the parade organizers set the parade start time)

    Downbeat: 10:30 am* (Again, depends on the parade start time)

    9:30am: Gathering for Parade at Milwood Baptist Church (12217 Cassady Dr)
    10:00am: Parade Begins (Parade Map)
    10:30am: Parade Ends at Balcones Park & Spirit Contest for Costumes, Bikes and Floats
    10:30am: Austin Civic Wind Ensemble is BACK to play for us!
    11:00am: Lunch Begins (Burgers/Hot Dogs/Vegetarian Option & Cold Drinks)
    11:00am: Raffle Drawing Begins

    Friday, July 4th, 2025 is Milwood Neighborhood Association's 21th Annual Fourth of July Parade & Picnic!

    The Patriotic Parade kicks off at 10am. Patriotic Music will begin soon after the parade arrives at the park.

    Outdoor concert in the park pavilion.

    • Attire: Blue ACWE polo with khaki bottoms and patriotic accessorizing of your choice
    • What to bring: Music and music stand. Feel free to bring water, sunglasses, hats, and sunscreen, as this will be our SECOND outdoor concert that day!
    • Small Ensembles: Violet Crown Flute Choir (6:15 pm start time)
    • Parking: There is limited parking at the park itself, so street parking in the surrounding neighborhood is your best bet. Leave yourself plenty of time to find a space.

    Rattan Creek Neighborhood Association hosts a concert in the park at 6:30pm. The Austin Civic Wind Ensemble plays patriotic music and other selections.
